buymie: Dunnes Stores Delivery 17+

Useful and good service

I’ve started using buymie since moving neighborhoods as I don’t live close enough to the supermarket I would usually go to and I don’t drive. It’s been super handy and I’ve been able to stock up fully weekly.

The range of available stuff is excellent and the service has been mostly brilliant. Some shoppers are better than others and have no trouble finding everything. Some shoppers have far too many substitutions that I ask them to please not give me any substitutions if they can’t find it.

Overall a great app that I’m grateful for.

IT'S A SCAM!!

I have been receiving items more expensive than the requested ones and the usual excuse is that the one ordered is not available. This is not true, I have been at the shop not long before or after the order is collected and the products are there on the shelves. I can't carry too much weight right now hence why Buymie seemed like the perfect solution. I pick some stuff and the rest I leave it to Buymie. Now, I guess I'll buy everything myself and use the delivery fee on a taxi to bring the stuff home. Disappointed Another thing. In my last order the delivery slot was between 13-14hrs PM. I received a notification that the shopper started shopping around 11 AM. He did not arrive until 13:37hrs. How long were my fridge items outside the fridge? He didn't seem to have a place to keep them cool in the car for at least 2hrs before he showed up. Are the products safe to consume? Or he didn't really start shopping at 11am? ---- To answer the developers reply "Yes I did contact Support. They even promised a refund that I NEVER RECEIVED" so please stop replying with that nonsense

Buymie is useful

I am a working single parent so value convenience. Many of the shoppers are efficient, friendly and have good attention to detail, and feel like they are on my team! Some are much weaker - younger, well off local kids, treating it like a way to get quick cash at the weekend who aren't at all well trained, and act surprised when you ask them to do their job. Delivery is usually on time but often early (which is very frustrating because I often cannot get home early, I rely on reliability and consistently, and paid services like this to adhere to the time slots I book with them). Service costs a fair bit, but I value the time saving more so happy to pay it. Occasionally products are missing or damaged, so it's important to check after every shop. Customer service is quite good. Online but quick, user friendly and efficient. Has always addressed any reported issues without hassle.
